Why college costs need early planning

College in the Philippines does not cost one fixed price. A degree at a public state university can cost very little in tuition thanks to government subsidies, while the same four years at a well known private university in Metro Manila can run well past a million pesos once you add tuition, fees, books, and daily allowance. That gap alone is a reason to start thinking early, since which school becomes realistic often depends on how much time you had to prepare.
