How the boundary system actually works

For most jeepney and tricycle drivers who don't own their unit, the boundary system is the deal that shapes every single working day: the driver pays the unit owner a fixed amount, called the boundary, for the right to use the vehicle for a shift, and keeps whatever fares are collected above that amount. It sounds simple, but the way it splits risk is worth understanding closely before anything else in this course.
